Better known as Arcam, A & R Cambridge makes and markets high-end home audio and video equipment and systems under the Solo and FMJ brand names. The company's products are sold through specialized electronics dealers in the UK, as well as through distributors worldwide. Arcam sells home theater systems, using its digitally integrated video and audio (DiVA) range of products; it also peddles stereo counterparts. A & R Cambridge was founded in 1976 by former Cambridge engineering students.
