Arrow Asia Pac oversees the operations of global electronics distribution leader Arrow Electronics in the Asia/Pacific region; it represents 15% of the parent's sales. The unit's operations -- including sales offices, distribution centers, and warehouses -- are spread across a dozen countries, from India to New Zealand. It distributes semiconductors, passive components, electromechanical devices, and connectors from more than 200 suppliers to OEMs and contract manufacturers. Arrow Asia Pac also provides services, such as component design, product support, supply chain management, and training. In 2007 the company acquired Adilam, an electronic component distributor operating in Australia and New Zealand.
